The Skillnet Climate Ready Academy is a strategic collaboration between Skillnet Ireland and 20FIFTY Partners. Established to empower Irish enterprise, the Academy builds the critical skills and capabilities businesses need to navigate and thrive within a rapidly changing global environment. We also work in partnership with government and enterprise agencies including IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland.
The Academy unites the unique strengths of two industry leaders. As the national business support agency of the Irish Government, Skillnet Ireland partners with enterprise and academia to deliver upskilling that drives national competitiveness.
20FIFTY Partners specialise in the design and operation of applied sustainability programmes, enabling organisations to translate high-level climate ambition into practical, measurable action.
Collaboration is the cornerstone of our model. We integrate a network of industry stakeholders and public bodies to ensure our programmes remain aligned with national policy and real-world commercial needs.
We collaborate with higher education leaders, including the University of Limerick, to ensure our accredited programmes meet the highest academic and professional standards.
Leveraging dedicated research and development expertise, the Academy delivers forward-looking training focused on both climate mitigation and adaptation.

Our training programmes are a critical bridge between Ireland’s national climate ambitions and the operational reality of Irish Enterprise.
We build “adaptive capacity” by training leadership teams to identify and manage climate risk, safeguarding the economy – specifically, the 99.8% of enterprises that are SMEs – against environmental and economic volatility.
