The Skillnet Climate Ready Academy have partnered with Chambers Ireland and Skillnet Ireland to design and deliver an innovative Sustainability Leaders training programme. The programme aims to drive and assist businesses and Sustainability professionals to embrace responsible and sustainable business practices towards a decarbonised economy. Throughout the programmes we strive to examine the challenges of transitioning to a sustainable business model, and learn how to overcome them through identifying the key organisational levers that facilitate change.

Aims of the Programme

This programme aims to facilitate professionals working in businesses across all sectors to implement Sustainability management. Upon the successful completion of this training programme, participants will have the skills and knowledge to:

Develop a Sustainability report + Charter for their site. The programme will support trainees in understanding where sustainability is used within the business, how to conserve resources and trainees will create a Sustainability Charter which captures the business case for action and an agreed action plan for the first 12 months.

Successful trainees will gain the knowledge which will boost their organisation’s reputation and brand image by having a recognised sustainable leader onsite.
